PIEDMONT USTA ADULT LEAGUES
You might be surprised to know that Rockingham County has five USTA Adult leagues playing in Greensboro in 2019.
Piedmont USTA Adult Leagues, organized by the Greensboro Regional Tennis Association (GRETA), offer USTA league play by age group (18&O, 40&O, 55&O, and 65&O) with team matches played in Greensboro and High Point.

- Fall is the time for Fall Combo Doubles League in Greensboro/High Point Piedmont League. Players may be added to a team anytime during the season. Click the "Find a Team" button at the bottom of the Fall Combo page if you looking for a team.
- Rockingham County Men's USTA Tri-Level 3.0+ league is in play. Their current team record is 4-2 with 2 matches to play.
- Rockingham County & Friends finished second in the 7.0 USTA 55&Over Mixed Doubles league with a 5-3 record.
- Beavers/Rhyne spring results were 3-5 in the Women's USTA 3.5 55&Over league.
- Rockingham County team finished 5-3 in the Men's USTA 40&Over league.

ROCKINGHAM COMMUNITY COLLEGE ADULT TENNIS CLASSES (complete)
Rockingham Community College offers Beginning Lessons for ages 16-Adult and USTA Southern Tennis Apprentcie for age 16 - Adult as part of their courses for credit and Continuing Education programs. Student under age 18 are required to submit a consent form to participate. 2020 Beginning Tennis CSP-7733-01 This course emphasizes the fundamentals of tennis. Topics include basic strokes, rules, etiquette, and court play. Upon completion, students should be able to play recreational tennis.

ADULT SANCTIONED USTA TOURNAMENTS
A sanctioned tournament is one that is approved by the USTA. The club, organization, or person running the tournament has paid a sanction fee to the USTA and agrees to run the tournament following USTA Southern Section Tournament rules and regulations.
USTA North Carolina offers different levels of tournaments to meet Adult player's competitive needs. A player may enter any tournament, although you should strive to find the level of tournament at which you can best meet your personal tennis goals.You are also welcome to contact Matt Delascio, NC Tennis Adult Leagues Events Coordinator for advice. matt@nctennis.com
