After School Kids Tennis Clubs are in the swing!

RC Tennis is hosting after school Kids Tennis Clubs across Rockingham County with support from a USTA NC "Widen the Base" Grant.  Check out the photos form our fall clinics at Bethany, Huntsville, Lincoln, Monroeton, New Vision, South End, Stoneville, Wentworth and Williamsburg Elementary Schools, The Boys and Girls Club of Eden, and Bridge Street Recreation Center in our Photo Gallery.

USTA KIDS TENNIS CLUBS are designed to give children the opportunity to try tennis in a safe, supportive, extracurricular setting. With tennis sized right for age and ability, it's easier and more fun than ever for kids to play - even if they've never picked up a racket!

RCTA After School Kids Tennis Clubs 2015-16 Our Kids Tennis Club program includes 4-5 clinics and a Play Day led by a trained youth Tennis Coach or Play Supervisor.  All equipment is provided.  This program can be held in a gym, parking lot, playground or on a tennis court.  The monthly clinics can be spread out over the fall and spring at the discretion of the after school provider.  We follow a age-specific Learn to Rally lesson and practice plan provided by the USTA.

Rackets are swinging, balls are flying, and EVERYONE is having FUN!
